WoW: The War Within Beta Launches – How to Sign Up Now

The beta of The War Within will begin soon. We'll tell you how to get involved in testing World of Warcraft's next expansion.

Time is running out and considering that the next expansion of World of Warcraft is scheduled to start in 4 to 5 months, some fans are rightly asking where the alpha or beta of "The War Within" is. Now, Blizzard has unlocked the ability to sign up for the beta of the new add-on.

Of course, for new players, iGV will prepare fast, safe and cheap gold for you, Buy WOW Gold, which will help you to get an advantage and good gaming experience in the game.

How to register?

To register for the beta of "The War Within", you need to follow a few steps:

  • All you have to do is log in to the official World of Warcraft site with your account.
  • Then click on the big button "Beta Registration".
  • On the following page, click on "Request Beta Access"

If everything went well, you will receive a green message with a checkmark informing you that the registration was successful.

Is it possible to participate in other ways?

Yes, you can. If you pre-order the most expensive version of "The War Within", i.e. the "Epic Edition", then it includes guaranteed access to the beta, along with some other bonuses, such as a 3-day early access.

However, this doesn't mean that you'll get access to the beta right away. It's quite possible that those who pre-order will be invited to the beta at a later date, when the tests rely a bit more on mass in order to test the areas even with a high number of characters or to collect more widely distributed feedback.

How do you know if you're in?

If you get beta access, you can check it out directly in the Battle.net app. In this case, you could go to the World of Warcraft tab under the version selection and select the "In Development" menu item and select the beta for The War Within. At the same time, however, you will also be notified via an email from Blizzard.

Be wary of emails that promise you access that requires you to click on some link or provide any information – these are scams. Over the past few years, scammers have repeatedly tried to steal the account data of reckless WoW enthusiasts.

When does the beta start?

A specific date for the beta has not yet been announced. However, hints from data mining and the roadmap suggest that at least the alpha will start either this week or next. Usually, the beta test takes place a few weeks later.

Have you signed up for the beta yet? Or did you buy the Epic Edition and trust that it's enough?
