5 Best Traits in Starfield

1. Kid Stuff

Want free stuff? Kid Stuff is your go-to trait. Your parents, though technically requiring a weekly payment, generously shower you with valuable weapons and items. You can’t get these items without this trait, and the 500 credits you pay every week are a small price to pay for their generosity. Remember to check for their notes at The Lodge and visit them for their gifts.

2. Dream Home

Who doesn’t dream of a place to call their own? While apartments are available in Starfield, the Dream Home stands out as a unique perk of the Dream Home trait. It’s a charming abode, and a must-have for those who crave a cozy retreat from the galactic hustle.

3. Extrovert or Introvert

This choice depends on your playstyle. While both offer bonuses, Extrovert is generally the better option for most players. It boosts companion affinity, which is essential for forming strong bonds with your crew and unlocking their unique abilities. If you prefer solo play, Introvert offers a bonus to your passive skills.

4. Freestar Collective Settler, Neon Street Rat, or United Colonies Native

Choose one of these traits to align yourself with a faction. These traits give you access to unique dialogue options, bonus rewards for completing faction-related missions, and a deeper immersion in the world. It’s a great way to build a character with a strong sense of identity and loyalty.

5. Raised Enlightened, Raised Universal, or Serpent’s Embrace

Similar to faction affiliations, religious affiliations offer unique dialogue options, rewards, and immersion. While Enlightened and Universal are popular, Serpent’s Embrace stands out with its O2 and Health buff, as well as its humorous and quirky conversation options. Although Serpent’s Embrace doesn’t offer a chest of free items, it does offer rewards for the dedicated follower.
