Path of Exile 2 has received an unofficial tool that many players have been looking forward to. Some even go so far as to say that the game is only now really playable. If you’re diving into the game, don’t forget to Buy POE Currency to enhance your experience!
What kind of tool is it? We are talking about a build simulator for Path of Exile 2, called Path of Building. It does not come from the developer itself, but from the community. Even in the first part, there was a similar tool that allowed you to experiment with different builds.
The advantage of this is that you don’t have to log into the game, but can combine skills, equipment, and items outside of it and test how well a build will work.
For example, the damage of a build can be calculated. The tool is primarily intended for ambitious players who want to get the most out of the complex skill system and the countless possible combinations of items and equipment.
Because the skill tree alone is known to be overwhelming – so it doesn’t hurt to get an overview in advance. The release of the Build Simulator is causing great joy in the community.
This is what the community has been waiting for
What do the players say? For some parts of the community, Build Simulator is not just a nice addition. Rather, the release is an important step for these players.
Some even go so far as to say that Path of Exile 2 is only now complete:
- “Finally we can play the right game,” writes user POEAccount12345 on reddit.
- “The best day of my life,” Lucas says enthusiastically on x.com.
- “Official launch of the game,” SimbaXp calls the release of the tool on reddit.
- “Started the build wars,” writes SQRTLURFACE in allusion to Master Yoda from Star Wars.
However, there is also criticism, at least of the current state of the Build Simulator:
- “Right now, some nodes are completely broken and return errors or don’t do what they say,” Pidgeon__v3 writes on reddit.
- “It’s not even worth using because it’s so buggy and lousy,” sanguine_sea says on reddit.
However, some bugs and errors that are currently still present will be eliminated in the future. Interested parties can download the Build Simulator via github.com. You will also find all information about improvements and bug fixes there.
