EA Sports FC 27 Launch Week Begins

The second major FC 27 content window begins with the worldwide launch on September 24–25, 2026, depending on platform and region. This period brings the full player base into Ultimate Team and introduces Destined for Glory, one of the first major campaigns of FC 27 Season 1.

For players building a new Ultimate Team, this is also an important period to plan FC 27 Coins spending. If you need additional Coins to complete your starting XI, improve weak positions or prepare for SBCs, iGVault allows players to compare available FC Coins offers and choose an amount based on their squad requirements.

FC 27 Worldwide Launch and Destined for Glory

EA confirms that FC 27 launches on PC at 23:00 UTC on September 24, followed by the worldwide launch on other platforms at 00:00 local time on September 25.

September 25 is also the start date for Destined for Glory.

The campaign features players selected through community voting and focuses on footballers expected to make a major impact during the season. EA has confirmed Kylian Mbappé as one of the headline players, alongside players including Morgan Rogers, Matheus Fernandes, Alexander Isak and Bryan Mbeumo.

How Destined for Glory Upgrades Work

Destined for Glory is designed around real-world player performances.

EA states that Destined for Glory Player Items can earn upgrades throughout the football season beginning from September 18, with upgrade milestones determined by the player’s position.

This means that these cards are not simply static launch items.

Their potential development is connected to performances during the domestic season, giving players another reason to follow real-world football after building their Ultimate Team.

Why Destined for Glory Matters for Your FC 27 Squad

The launch of a major campaign can change the Transfer Market because players begin looking for new promotional cards, SBC solutions and popular meta players.

If you already have a strong starter squad, you do not necessarily need to replace every player when Destined for Glory launches.

Instead, compare the new promotional cards with your existing squad and identify whether an upgrade actually improves your team.

For example, if your midfield is already strong, spending a large amount of FC 27 Coins on another midfielder may provide less benefit than upgrading a weaker striker or defender.

TOTW and the First FC 27 Campaign Cycle

Team of the Week is also part of the opening FC 27 content cycle.

EA has confirmed that Team of the Week 1 and Team of the Week 2 will be available during Early Access. The first six Team of the Week squads will also include one player selected with input from the FC community.

TOTW content can influence the market because special cards and SBC requirements can increase demand for certain ratings and player types.

Players should therefore check current SBCs and market prices before selling or purchasing large quantities of cards.

How to Prepare for New SBCs

The launch week is an important period for SBC activity.

EA has confirmed Challenge and Upgrade SBCs as part of Early Access, while Ones to Watch themed Player SBCs are also part of the opening content.

When a new SBC appears, first determine whether the reward is relevant to your squad.

Then compare the cost of completing the SBC with the value of the final reward.

If you need additional players, use your FC 27 Coins selectively rather than buying cards at inflated prices immediately after the SBC goes live.

Build Around Your Best Untradeable Players

One of the easiest ways to control your FC 27 Coins budget is to build around the players you already own.

Untradeable rewards from Objectives, SBCs, Squad Battles and other content can form the foundation of your squad.

Once those players are identified, use the Transfer Market to fill the remaining positions.

This approach can reduce unnecessary spending and leave more FC 27 Coins available for future promotional content.

FC 27 introduces FUT Gallery as a new way to collect and track Player Items.

EA states that more than 100 Gallery Sets will be available at launch, covering leagues, clubs and different item rarities. The first post-launch Gallery Set will arrive with worldwide launch and combine Ones to Watch, Destined for Glory and Future Stars Player Items.

This creates another reason to pay attention to the cards entering your club.

An item that does not immediately fit your starting XI may still have future value for Gallery Sets.

Because of this, players should avoid judging every card solely by its immediate starting XI value.

FC 27 Coins and the Launch Week Transfer Market

The launch period is one of the most active stages of a new Ultimate Team cycle.

A large number of players will be opening packs, completing SBCs and buying their first competitive squads.

This can create rapid changes in player prices.

If you are buying FC 27 Coins on iGVault, decide what you want to purchase before spending your balance.

For example, you may divide your Coins between a starting striker, midfield upgrades, defensive improvements and future SBC opportunities.

This gives you more flexibility than spending your entire balance on one expensive card.

Do Not Ignore Squad Battles and Live Events

Launch week is not only about the Transfer Market.

Squad Battles provide a reliable way to progress while earning rewards, FUT Coins and Season Points. EA has also confirmed Champions Qualification Points through Squad Battles in FC 27.

Live Events provide additional campaign-themed gameplay.

EA has confirmed that Online and Single Player Live Events will rotate throughout the season, with themed squads, entry requirements and rewards connected to current campaigns.

This makes Live Events particularly useful for players who want to progress their club without relying entirely on the Transfer Market.

Prepare for the First Competitive Weekend

Once the full FC 27 player base enters Ultimate Team, competition will increase.

Before entering competitive modes, make sure your starting XI has reliable chemistry, suitable player roles and enough depth to handle different opponents.

Do not focus exclusively on overall ratings.

A slightly lower-rated player who fits your formation and gameplay style can be more useful than an expensive card that does not suit your system.

Keep some FC 27 Coins available for unexpected upgrades rather than spending everything before your first competitive matches.

FC 27 Launch Week Coin Management

The most important principle during the launch period is flexibility.

The market will continue changing as more players enter Ultimate Team, more packs are opened and more SBCs become available.

Use your FC 27 Coins when they solve a clear problem in your squad.

If your team already performs well, there is no need to spend simply because a new promotional card has been released.

If you need a specific player to complete your starting XI, compare several options before purchasing.

For players who want to accelerate squad development, buying FC 27 Coins from iGVault can provide additional budget for targeted upgrades while allowing you to focus on the players, SBCs and Evolutions that fit your Ultimate Team plan.

FC 27 September 24–30 Checklist

During launch week, check the Destined for Glory campaign, monitor TOTW content, review new SBCs, complete available Live Events and Evolutions, track your Gallery progress and compare Transfer Market prices before making major purchases.

Most importantly, keep following the Season 1 content roadmap.

EA has confirmed that Season 1: Ones to Watch will continue through October 22 and will connect multiple campaigns under one season theme.

By managing your FC 27 Coins carefully and combining Transfer Market purchases with Objectives, SBCs, Evolutions, Squad Battles and Live Events, you can build a stronger Ultimate Team without relying on a single source of progression.
