Ester Weapon: Grant Ella
The highly anticipated August update for Lost Ark’s KR version introduces exciting changes to Esther weapons. A new technique, “Grant Ella,” discovered by Bahuntur, allows evolution for Esther weapons level 6 and above. This requires a “mysterious stone,” crafted using materials like “Esther’s Energy,” “Romantic Material Kit,” and “Eyes of Decay” – loot from the Ilyakan Commander Raid. Notably, the materials required for evolving Esther weapons remain the same, regardless of whether the “Ella Buyeo” technique is employed.
Furthermore, “Esther’s Energy,” a crucial material for Esther weapon evolution, has undergone adjustments. With the Ilyakan Commander Raid update, more sources of this energy will be available. However, to maintain a balanced supply, the overall amount will be adjusted to prevent a drastic imbalance. The “Esther’s Energy (attribution)” will maintain an exchange rate for “Thoughts of Dreams,” and Ilyakan Commander Raid rewards. A maximum of 30 items per character, including pre-existing exchanges, will be available for exchange.
Guardian of Chaos, Sonabell
The August update introduces a new guardian, Sonabell, the guardian of chaos. Anomalies have been observed regarding Levanos, a previously friendly guardian. Recent reports indicate unusual behavior and aggression. Investigators have linked these changes to the newly christened Sonabell. The “Guardian Subjugation” bulletin board has been updated.
- Adventurers who’ve completed the Elgasia World Quest can now encounter Evergrace-following guardians in “Test of Evergrace.”
- Guardians aligned with chaos will appear in “Guardian Purification of Chaos.”
Chaos Dungeon: Elgasia
The Chaos Dungeon in Lost Ark KR has expanded with the addition of Elgasia’s first and second stages. Access to these stages is tiered, based on item level. The first level unlocks at item level 1580, and the second level at 1600.
- High-level refining materials are found in Elgasia, aiding in the crafting of powerful ancient-grade equipment.
- Boss Rush tickets and Eternal Corridor (Normal) admission tickets will become obtainable within the dungeon itself.
- High-level refining materials are now also found in Epona quest rewards from item level 1580 onwards, increasing the rewards from Epona tokens.
Boss Rush: Corridor of Aeons (Normal)
The August update introduces a new difficulty in the Boss Rush, “Corridor of Aeons (Normal),” accessible at item level 1580. To enter, completion of the Elgasia Continent World Quest, “The Broken Cage,” is required. This addition provides a challenging new path for aspiring adventurers.
