Activision has long been in the process of bringing another significant title to mobile devices with Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The recent acquisition of the US-based company by Microsoft could potentially shed light on the numerous delays that the project has faced since its announcement several years ago.
Originally scheduled for a May 2023 release, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile faced multiple setbacks, with launch dates pushed back to November and then further into 2024. However, earlier this week, Activision finally unveiled a new and seemingly concrete release date for the game: March 21

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile maps
At launch, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will feature two expansive maps: Verdansk and Rebirth Island, along with a variety of multiplayer modes to cater to different player preferences.
Verdansk, a familiar terrain for fans of the franchise, served as the primary battleground in the original Call of Duty Warzone. Inspired by Eastern European cities, Verdansk offers a vast landscape comprising downtown urban areas, suburbs, open fields, industrial complexes, and military installations. With support for up to 120 players, Verdansk is the go-to map for those seeking intense shootouts on a grand scale.
Rebirth Island, reminiscent of the Alcatraz setting from the original Warzone, offers a more compact and action-packed experience. Linked to the team-based Resurgence Mode, this map hosts up to 48 players who must strive to keep at least one squad mate alive for respawns.
Recognizing that not all players are drawn to the survival tactics of battle royale, Activision is also providing a selection of multiplayer maps and modes with shorter rounds. These include fan-favorite maps like Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard, where players can engage in Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Search & Destroy, including Hardcore variants, for fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled action.
