Back in the vanilla days of World of Warcraft, leveling a character was still a thing that could take days, weeks, or sometimes even months. In the modern version of WoW, the main purpose of leveling is to level the next character to max level as quickly as possible so that they are ready for endgame content.
What will be changed?
With the expansion "The War Within", Blizzard wants to do a lot of things account-wide and also distribute some bonuses for it. For players with a lot of characters, there will be an easier way to level up more characters in the future.
This is because a new set of achievements increases the experience gained by all characters up to a maximum level of 80.
How does it work?
Each character who reaches level 80 unlocks a special Mentor achievement. This increases the experience gained by all characters on the account by 5%.
Depending on how many characters you have at level 80, the larger the XP bonus:

In total, this achievement can be "stacked" up to 5 times. So, if you level 5 characters to level 80, then all characters will benefit from a whopping 25% XP bonus.
What else is changing?
In addition to this adjustment, the amount of XP required will be drastically reduced. Overall, the amount of experience required between level 1 and 70 is reduced by almost 55%, with the largest reduction occurring in the range of levels 60 to 70.
This speeds up leveling even more.
What are the consequences of this?
As a result, this will make it easier for everyone to level up new characters. While there have been many simplifications in the past, such as Legacy armor, XP bonus potions, or the popular buff from the Darkmoon Faire, a further improvement should ensure that the leveling phase is completed even faster in the future.
