Genshin Impact Version 4.4 Event Wishes

Genshin Impact has revealed the Event Wishes for Phase 1 of Version 4.4, and among its surprises, Faruzan features as 4-Star outside Wanderer's banner for the first time.On top of commencing the drip marketing for Chiori, Genshin Impact also revealed the full details of the Event Wishes that await players on January 31, 2024. While Nahida and Xianyun were known factors, Genshin Impact fans have now been introduced to the 4-Star characters that will be accompanying the 5-Star Catalysts during the first half of the update.

As revealed on Twitter by the official Genshin Impact account, Phase 1 will see Noelle, Gaming, and Faruzan as its featured 4-Star characters in Version 4.4. While Gaming was an expected inclusion in the line-up, both Noelle and Faruzan came as a pleasant surprise to the community. Whereas Noelle saw an immense power upgrade when Furina was released in Genshin Impact's Version 4.2, Faruzan is considered an important fixture in most Anemo teams, especially at full Constellations.

As opposed to the Pyro Claymore Gaming, it remains to be seen if Faruzan has good synergy with Xianyun. However, both characters are ideal support options for Xiao in Genshin Impact, who is set to re-run during the second half of Version 4.4. While HoYoverse hasn't formally announced the 4-Star characters for Phase 2 of Version 4.4, the preload files can provide the full answer.

Phase 1

Xianyun – 5-Star Anemo Catalyst

Nahida – 5-Star Dendro Catalyst

Noelle – 4-Star Geo Claymore

Faruzan – 4-Star Anemo Bow

Gaming – 4-Star Pyro Claymore

Phase 2

Xiao – 5-Star Anemo Polearm

Yae Miko – 5-Star Electro Catalyst

Xinyan – 4-Star Pyro Claymore

Ningguang – 4-Star Geo Catalyst

Yaoyao – 4-Star Dendro Polearm

Provided HoYoverse doesn't make any last-minute changes, both Xinyan and Ningguang will finally have a re-run in the second half of Version 4.4. It's important to note that Genshin Impact players will be able to invite any 4-Star character from Liyue during the Lantern Rite, which gives some flexibility to fans who are hoping to save their Primogems for the character banners in Genshin Impact Version 4.5.
