The new chapter of Fortnite is tied to the Rocket League game, and you can customize your own car in Fortnite, so how do you go about it?
Here's how to unlock new decals, new wheels, and make your very own custom car in Fortnite's Rocket Racing!
Unlock Decals With Quests:
The easiest way to customize your car is by completing quests. Simply navigate to your 'Quests' tab and scope out the 'Season Zero Kickoff' quests. Completing the simple tasks on this list will eventually earn you 5 starter decals with which to customize your rid.
Unlock Wheels and Decals in Ranked:
As you work your way from Bronze rank, beyond Diamond, and as high as Unreal, you will unlock 2 extra decals and up to 12 new wheel variants. The quality of your wheels are the true marker of your skill tier in Rocket Racing, so make sure to equip your most prestigious wheels to show off your rank!
Unlock Cars and Decals in the Shop:
Bundles galore! Some cars are only purchasable in the Item Shop in the form of bundles. These bundles include not only the car but also a handful of unique decals. These bundles are priced at a premium, but remember that, as long as you have both Rocket League and Fortnite on the same Epic Games account, then any car you unlock in Fortnite will also become available on your Rocket League profile too!
Bundles are currently priced as follows:
· Cyclone Bundle - 2,500 V-Bucks
· Diesel Bundle - 4,000 V-Bucks
· Jäger 619 Bundle - 2,500 V-Bucks
The Battle Pass:
The only way to unlock the Scorpion car (and its 3 unique decals) at this time is via the Battle Pass! You'll require a Premium Battle Pass at level 82 in order to pick up the Scorpion. At level 86 you'll unlock the 3 unique decals for your new set of wheels.
Customizing Your Car:
Now you've got a bunch of new cars, decals, and wheels, it's time to hit the garage. Head into your Locker menu, navigate to 'Cars,' and get to tweaking!
