This Seller Policies and Rules an integral part of the IGV Platform “User Agreement for Seller Dashboard ” and has the same legal force. In case of any conflict between this Annex and the User Agreement for Seller Dashboard, the User Agreement for Seller Dashboard shall prevail. For matters not covered herein, the relevant provisions of the User Agreement for Seller Dashboard shall apply.
1. Seller's Code of Conduct
1.1. Honest and trustworthy
1.1.1. Accurate description of goods: the seller shall provide truly ,accurate and complete descriptions of the goods offered for sale, including but not limited to the function, color ,conditions, and usage. The Seller shall not engage in any misleading or deceptive practices that could cause confusion or mislead Buyers.
1.1.2. Transparent transactions: The Seller shall c onduct all transaction in an honest ,fair, and trustworthy manner, disclosing all information reasonably necessary for the Buyer to make an informed purchasing decision, without concealing or misrepresenting any material facts.
1.2. Compliance with Applicable laws and regulations
1.2.1. Legal operation: The Seller guarantees that all goods offered for sale comply with all applicable laws, regulations and policies of the jurisdiction in which the platform operates as well as the jurisdiction of the Seller and Buyer ,and shall not list, sell, or distribute any goods that are illegal , restricted, or prohibited . Respect for intellectual property rights: The Seller shall not sell or distribute counterfeit, pirated, or otherwise infringing products that violate the intellectual property rights of third parties. The Seller agrees to fully cooperate with iMeta in addressing any claims related to intellectual property infringement.
1.3. Protect consumers' right
1.3.1. Maintain privacy and security: The Seller shall strictly protect the B uyer's peronal information and shall not disclose any such information to third parties without the Buyer ’ s prior consent, including but not limited to the Buyer ’ s name, address, contact information, and any other personal data, except as required by law or platform policy..
1.3.2. Improve delivery and after-sales service:
1.3.2.1. Accurately provide the promised delivery time, and ensure goods are delivered within the promised timeframe. Delays beyond the promised delivery time may result in serious consequences, including penalties or suspension of Seller privileges.
1.3.2.2. If the delivery status is abnormal or the Buyer is unavailable, the Seller must promptly mark the order accordingly and contact the Buyer or platform customer service to resolve the issue in a timely manner.i
1.3.2.3. For consignment goods, the Seller shall regularly verify the validity and accuracy of product information ,and update the product status promptly to reflect availability and condition.
1.3.2.4. Respond to Buyer’s online messages promptly. A response is required within 24 hours of receipt of the message.
1.3.2.5. False delivery or fraudulent delivery practices are strictly prohibited. The Seller must provide accurate and valid delivery proof or vouchers at the time of delivery.
1.3.2.6. Handle Buyer-initiated refund requests promptly and professionally. The Seller should attempt to negotiate with the Buyer to cancel the refund and complete the delivery where appropriate.
1.3.2.7. Do not send any threat ening , abus ive , or illegal messages to Buyers. . If Buyers engage in illegal speech or behavior, Sellers are encouraged to report such conduct to the platform immediately.
1.3.2.8. After order completion, the Seller may invite Buyers to provide feedback and reviews to help improve Seller ratings and product rankings.
1.3.2.9. If a Buyer leaves a negative review due to misoperation or misunderstanding, the Seller may contact the Buyer to request a review modification, but must do so respectfully and without coercion.
1.4. Prohibition of Unfair Competition
1.4.1. Fair competition: Sellers shall participate in the competition on the platform fairly and ethically. Unfair competition practices, including but not limited to malicious slander, defamatory statements against competitors, false advertising, or any deceptive marketing practices, are strictly prohibited.
1.4.2. Prohibition of Malicious Operations: Any form of fraudulent activities, including false transactions, order manipulation (commonly known as “swiping orders”), artificial boosting of sales or product rankings through illegitimate means such as fake reviews or comments, are strictly forbidden. Violations may result in penalties, suspension, or termination of Seller accounts.
1.5. Comply with platform rules
1.5.1. Rule compliance:Sellers must carefully read, understand, and strictly comply with all rules, policies, and guidelines issued by the platform. Sellers are responsible for keeping up-to-date with any changes or updates and adjusting their operations accordingly to maintain compliance with the latest platform requirements.
1.5.2. Positive interaction: Sellers are encouraged to maintain proactive, timely, and respectful communication with Buyers to enhance Buyer satisfaction and loyalty. Prompt responses to Buyer inquiries and requests not only improve service quality but may also increase product visibility and exposure on the platform.
2. Punishment Rules
2.1. R efund- Penalty rules:
2.1.1. For sellers with high refund rates, we have a strict and continuous monitoring policy. A high refund rate usually indicates that customers are not satisfied with the products or the seller ’ s services ,and such performance does not meet the standards and reputation requirements of the IGV marketplace. Any refunds caused by seller-related issues will be subject to penalties if the refund order meets any of the following conditions, regardless of the order ’ s other status. In such cases, the order will incur the corresponding penalty without exception.
2.1.1.1. Order that are not delivered within the promised delivery time ,where the customer selects ‘ Not Received’ as the reason for the refund and the refund is successful , will incur a penalty of $10 each occurrence .
Tip: Always check the refund reason when processing refunds . If this situation occurs, the seller must proactively communicate and coordinate with the customer to resolve the matter promptly and avoid penalties .
2.1.1.2. If the customer initiates a refund and the seller fails to process it within the refund processing time limit , resulting in an automatic refund, the seller will be fined $ 10 for each occurrence .
2.1.1.3. If the refund reason is due to after-sales quality issues, including but not limited to : Not R eceived;Products N ot as D escribed;Account Stolen; Account Blocked/Locked/Coins Confiscated , a penalty of $10 will be imposed for each occurrence.
2.1.1.4. F or certain account -related products , if the automat ed number inspection fails before delivery and the order is automatically refunded , a penalty of $ 5 will be imposed for each occurrence.
2.1.2. It is important to note that:
2.1.2.1. If the refund order meets more than one of the above conditions, all corresponding penalties will be applied cumulatively.
2.1.2.2. Sellers must check and settle penalty payments promptly. If a seller’s balance remains negative for two consecutive months, the seller will be permanently banned from selling on IGV.
2.1.2.3. If a seller’s refund rate or timeout rate falls below the required standard due to the seller’s actions, the seller will be warned; in serious cases, the seller may be permanently banned from selling or have the account suspended. After permanent suspension, all account content will be removed, and the seller’s balance and deposit will be forfeited and non-withdrawable.
2.2. Malicious Competitive Conduct-Penalty Rules:
2.2.1. We strictly prohibit and penalize any form of malicious competition, including but not limited to: fake transactions, click farming, manipulating reviews or ratings, malicious defamation of competitors, false advertising , and any other illegal or unethical conduct. Violations will result in severe penalties, up to and including permanent account banning and freezing of all seller assets on the platform .
2.2.2. It is important to note that:
2.2.2.1. Sellers are not allowed to click farming or do fake positive rating, violators will be warned and charged a penalty of $5 per order . In serious or repeated cases, the account will be permanently disabled, all account content will be removed, and the seller’s balance and deposit will be forfeited and non-withdrawable;
2.2.2.2. Sellers are prohibited from engaging in false advertising. If detected, the related goods will be immediately delisted, and in serious cases , the seller will be permanently banned from selling !
2.3. Harmful to the platform's interests -Penalty Rules :
2.3.1. We take the transactions on I GV very seriously and must ensure that all orders traded and completed on I GV are protected. Any conduct that undermines the platform's reputation or financial interests, including but not limited to conducting transactions off-platform or retrieving/damaging goods after completion of the transaction, will result in severe penalties
2.3.2. It is important to note that:
2.3.2.1. Sellers must not guide, encourage, or agree with customers to conduct transactions outside of IGV. Once confirmed, the seller’s account will be permanently suspended, all account content will be removed, and the seller’s balance and deposit will be forfeited and non-withdrawable.
2.3.2.2. Sellers are required to assist in the handling of out-of-warranty order issues. Failure to cooperate may result in penalty fines. If repeated out-of-warranty problems are caused by the seller, the account will be permanently suspended, all account content will be removed, and the seller’s balance and deposit will be forfeited and non-withdrawable.
