Powerful buffs are coming to World of Warcraft . Paladins cheer, but so do shadow priests and 5 other classes.
Although World of Warcraft Dragonflight Season 3 has been underway for many weeks, the balance is still not perfect. Some classes are significantly behind the others and some specializations are hardly usable - at least in the high-level PvE area, where every percentage point of performance counts. Blizzard is changing the balance here and changing several classes. There are only buffs to bring the worse specializations closer to the others.
The essentials in brief:
- 7 classes get buffs, sometimes in several or even all specializations.
- The buffs primarily affect DPS specializations.
- There are no nerfs.
- Druid healers receive massively reduced mana costs for their spells.
- Warrior and Death Knight tanks will be slightly more stable.

When does this go live?
The changes will go live with the maintenance work on Wednesday, i.e. on January 24th, 2024. After the morning server maintenance, the changes will be active so that you can benefit directly from the buff in dungeons and raids in the new week.
Are all classes happy then?
That remains to be seen. The buffs definitely ensure that the previously worst classes look significantly better in terms of performance. However, there are also some specializations that are eagerly awaiting a rework and thus a large-scale change to their talents .
