The Blizzard developers are now rewarding you with more glory in every Plunderstorm game of World of Warcraft. We'll tell you how to get the mounts, pets, titles, and cosmetic items the quickest.
Of course, if you don't like this mode, you can still choose to stick to MMORPG. iGV will prepare fast, safe and cheap gold for you, Buy WOW Classic SOD Gold, which will help you to get an advantage and good gaming experience in the game.
What did the Blizzard developers change?
The following hotfixes went live for World of Warcraft's new Plunderstorm mode on the night of March 20-21, 2024:
- The amount of loot dropped by other players has been significantly increased.
- The loot of non-player enemies has been increased by 50 percent.
- The loot from golden chests has been doubled.
- The best placement in a match now awards 500 plunder (up from 100).
In the announcement on the official WoW forums, developer Kurbeegold emphasizes that defeated players do not lose any loot due to their death. Your virtual demise is simply more valuable now than before. In addition, the designer explains that the amount of plunder received depends on how much plunder the defeated player has been able to collect to date.
What do I do with all the junk?
The loot you earn from a Plunderstorm match will be converted into Glory for account-wide progression after each match. Glory progression allows you to level up to 40 levels to earn a variety of rewards.
The main prizes are cosmetics, pets, mounts, and titles. Among the highlights are certainly the majestic parrot of the Plunder Lord (Mount), Blubbi the Crab (Pet), Pepe the Pirate (Pet) and a chic pirate outfit.
Are there already level 40 players?
Of course! On Reddit, LordLongshaft presented his fully equipped pirate a few hours ago. Whether there were other players who were even faster is unclear.
According to Icy Veins, LordLongshaft is said to have left a game with about 700 to 800 junk after the warm-up rounds, which were usually over for him after five to six minutes – and that was before the hotfixes.
How do I farm junk efficiently?
Basically, you get loot by killing players as well as creatures and looting golden chests. You'll also be rewarded with plunder for completing quests and winning a match.
If you want to grab all of Plunderstorm's rewards as quickly as possible, you should play as a duo with a buddy as often as possible. This is how you get bonus loot when your comrade-in-arms earns plunder.
Another good strategy is to avoid PvP battles as much as possible and specialize in killing as many monsters and looting chests as possible in each match. Abilities like Fire Whirl, Storm Archon, Manasphere, and Star Bomb will help you do just that.
Otherwise, work through the tasks of the currently active quests in a targeted manner. For example, you have to open two chests, collect a certain number of plunder, kill creatures or collect two spells or items each. The Daily Quest, which is available at the same time, lures you in for more plunder.
By the way, if you die and leave the game immediately afterwards, you won't lose any fame you've earned up to that point.
