In WoW: The War Within, each of you needs 3 million gold if you want all features

In World of Warcraft: The War Within, you'll need a lot of gold. Otherwise, you will only be able to use one of the features to a limited extent.

For new players, iGV has got you covered with the cheap and fast WOW Gold to help you immerse yourself in this game even faster.

Gold is an important thing in World of Warcraft. You need it for almost everything in the game. From the occasional purchase in the auction house to the repair costs incurred when visiting dungeons and raids, or even as payment for craftsmen who craft particularly fancy equipment.

For many players, gold is a rare commodity and has to be hard-earned. So it might come as a bit of a surprise that you'll need a lot of it in The War Within if you want to take full advantage of a new feature:

You'll need a whopping 3,126,000 gold to make full use of the War Mound Bank.

What kind of bank is this?

Warband Bank is a new, multi-character bank that can be accessed by your entire account. The bench can be used for crafting as well as for transferring items from one character to another. Gone are the days when you had to send items back and forth via in-game letters.

How much do the bank lockers cost?

The prices for unlocking the Warmob Bank start out quite moderately, but then rise rapidly. While the first slot costs only 1,000 gold pieces – which anyone can farm within a few minutes – the last slot costs several million gold pieces. The cost of the bank lockers is as follows:

Bank Box Number Cost per compartment Total Costs
1 1,000 Gold 1,000 Gold
2 25,000 Gold 26,000 Gold
3 100,000 Gold 126,000 Gold
4 500,000 Gold 626,000 Gold
5 2,500,000 Gold 3,126,000 Gold

Note that this is information from The War Within Alpha. Until the release of the expansion, the prices could still change.

How much space does the bench offer?

The War Pack Bank offers 98 slots per slot, so when all five slots are unlocked, that's a whopping 490 additional inventory slots that you can use for unbound and account-bound items, such as crafting materials and equipment.

Do you really have to unlock everything?

No. It is not necessary to buy all the benches for the war pack. For many players, two or three compartments should be enough to transfer the vast majority of items between characters or to share crafting materials.

Only if you really want to store a lot of items, you will probably really need all the bank compartments.
