WoW: Community Is About New Mount, Blizzard Reacts Immediately

It only took 3 days for Blizzard to give in to the drop chance of a rare mount in World of Warcraft. From now on you will see the mount more often.

When players in World of Warcraft are unhappy with something, the community is already used to the fact that a change can often take weeks, months, or even years in some cases. With the current expansion Dragonflight, however, this has changed, because more and more often the developers react after just a few days and bring adjustments to increase the fun of the game or reduce frustration.

For new players, iGV has got you covered with the cheap and fast WOW Gold to help you immerse yourself in this game even faster.

What was the problem with the mount?

Currently, during the Noble Garden event in WoW, you can earn a special mount called "Noble Flying Carpet". These can be obtained by defeating Daetan Swiftfeather and then redeeming the quest reward.

The catch with the mount: You only have 7 days once a year to get to the mount. According to current reports, the drop chance is about 1%. Since you have a maximum of 7 chances per character this year – and only if you try it every day without exception – the probability has been quite low so far.

So, the prospect of finishing the event without getting the rug was great for most players.

So what did Blizzard do?

On the official forums, Blizzard has now announced that they have increased the drop chance for "Noble Flying Carpet". More specifically, there is now a daily bonus to the first kill of Daetan Swiftfeather, the event boss. The first character you complete the event with each day will have an increased chance of receiving the coveted mount.

Further attempts (with other characters) can also grant the mount, but the first kill has a significantly increased chance. If you want to have a good chance with minimal effort, try your luck only once a day.

Keep in mind, however, that you'll still need to use a level 60 or higher character. Only such warriors have the chance to receive the coveted mount at all.

Community is satisfied, but has one wish:

On the official forums, players are quite happy with this change. However, there is also criticism and the wish that this design should be revised for future events and not only react when it goes live.

After all, there has been criticism of such a mount award in many previous events, such as the Mount of the Headless Horseman or the pink love rocket from the Valentine's event.
