Why are the buffs only coming now?

Blizzard usually takes a little time at the start of a season to evaluate enough data. At the same time, the developers are refraining from making particularly drastic class changes during the “World First” race - this could end up helping one of the professional guilds in particular and thus distorting the popular community event.

But now the race is over , which is why Blizzard can now bring balance changes faster and more frequently. The developers want to eliminate major problems here, especially in the coming weeks, and release fewer hotfixes later in the season.

Is there more to come?

Yes. Blizzard has already announced that there will be further adjustments next week - December 6, 2023. Here we are talking about “some buffs and nerfs”. It sounds like the currently best classes in the damage meter should be prepared for a few weakenings in WOW.
