Blizzard executives have surprisingly announced new esports events for World of Warcraft. More specifically: for WoW Cataclysm Classic. There will even be an official competition between raid guilds. Who would have thought that after all these years?
By the way, for new players, iGV will prepare fast, safe and cheap gold for you, Buy WOW Gold, which will help you to get an advantage and good gaming experience in the game.
Why is this announcement remarkable?
Blizzard executives have often organized esports events for World of Warcraft in the past, with the Mythic Dungeon International (MDI for short) and the Arena World Championship (AWC) taking place annually for some time now.
However, when it came to competitive events for raid enthusiasts, the community has always been on its own. Blizzard often only provided accompanying tweets or a mention on official channels for the World First Races.
What has Blizzard announced for Cataclysm Classic?
For the new edition of the Cataclysm expansion, there will be a competition of speedrun guilds called "Challenge of the Dragon Slayers". In addition, a PvP arena tournament is planned.
